May 4th, 2008
Finally home! Ah, my wonderful computer, I missed you! D:
Anyway, today is may 4th which means it's Audrey Hepburn's birthday! She's my favorite actress and I've modeled my style after her for years. She was the best.
My mother and I found out the hard way the dangers of the Explorer browser this afternoon. This whole weekend I used the Safari browser (which is what I use at home) but this afternoon my mother got on IE to look up the meaning of names. Well, she went to google and searched the meaning of names and up popped a site full of hard core porn. She was freaking out and the browser wouldn't shut down, so I had to shut it down for her. Our reaction was kind of hilarious. We were trying to shut the computer so we didn't have to look at it but on the other hand I couldn't see where I was clicking. So I just tried a bunch of key strokes and blind clicking and eventually it shut down.
I think I'm going to make some more icons tomorrow, I missed the option of just popping into photoshop whenever I feel like it. It was only the weekend but I still was suffering macintosh withdrawals... maybe that's not healthy.
