I'd like to take this time to say how absolutely awesome the "Band On The Run" video is. It is possibly the most creative and amazing video I've ever seen. Go have a look.
( It's under the cut. )
Despite being in the sunshine state it's surprisingly rainy and overcast today. On the beach the red flag is out which means high hazard. The waves are pretty big and I'm surprised that there aren't any surfers out, they usually love this kind of weather.
Last night I bought the cutest sunglasses, I let my inner disney nerd out and got some Sleeping Beauty sunglasses. They're pink and orange and have a little Aurora and horse on the lens. I think I'm going to take some photographs of my disney wardrobe, I have so many disney clothes and accessories. I'm such a kid on the inside.
Since it's rainy today we're watching movies. We've already watched "The Great Debaters" and "Juno." Both were really good. I had no desire to see The Great Debaters because I'd really never heard of it, I am so glad I watched it. I like Denzel Washington a lot, he's a very good actor. He's sort of like Sidney Poitier, but not quite as good. But Poitier is my second favorite actor, falling right behind Alec Guiness so I'm a little biased.
Juno was really cute, I liked it a whole bunch more that I thought I would.
My Dad's in Texas now touring and he got me a Chad & Jeremy LP in a little record shop in the Paris area. I'm so excited, I can't wait to listen to it. Now I have to decide which one to bring to the concert (if I go) to get signed.
We're going to watch "Numb" starring Matthew Perry next, I've not heard a thing about this movie so I have no idea if it will be good. I hope so because I loved Matthew Perry in Friends.

Today was so epic. First we went to see the Blue Angels which was pretty amazing. When the jets took off you could hear everybody in the crowd saying "Oh my God!" It was incredibly loud and when they looked like they were going to hit each other my mother squealed and gasped. When it was over I kept saving how terrible it must be to the other kinds of pilots, they are overshadowed by the Blue angels. I kept quoting the Monty Python flying lessons skit. It was pretty funny.
We went inside the Naval Aviation Museum and watched an underwhelming IMAX movie about the Angels and then rode an underwhelming motion ride about the Angels. But the museum it's self was pretty nice. My favorite exhibit was the home front one. They had a little street set up like a 40's town, complete with a theatre with a vintage magazine rack. One of the magazines sported a Clark Gable cover. They whole thing was really fun.
Next when we Lambert's Home of the Throwed Rolls. It's this really good restaurant that's sort of like cracker barrel on acid. At Lambert's they come out with a cart full of rolls and they throw them to you across the room. They also give you massive portions there, you get refills of everything; sides, entrees, drinks, whatever you can think of. They also kept playing pranks on us. Like they came out with a tray of drinks and acted like they were going to spill them all over my mother, although the cups were all empty. It was hilarious.
After that we went out to a concert on the beach. They played a lot of oldies tunes and we all got up and danced, it was so much fun.

Yesterday was so fun, we went out on the beach again and rediscovered the epic hole. (That sounds dirty.) We took photographs of us jumping into the hole making superhero poses and stuff. Luckily the ocean drowned out the sound of our obnoxious giggling.
I think tomorrow we're going to see the blue angels practicing. The blue angels are these jets that fly upside down and stuff, it's going to be interesting.
Last night I was watching TCM and they were showing "Frank Sinatra: A Man and His Music" which aired in 1966. Nancy Sinatra was his special guest and they were singing together. It was so cute.
Anyway, there's a meme under the cut that would be fantastic if you filled it out. :}

Here I am at the beach! We got in today around five o' clock, we went out to the beach and walked around. We came along these little cliff looking things made of sand and my sisters and I took turns walking on them with our eyes closed to see how long we could last without the sand collapsing. Then we came across this huge hole and we took turns trying to jump across, which was pretty much impossible. It was so epic.
The car ride down was wonderful, but it didn't seem to last long enough. Six hours just didn't do it for me. But it was nice, I watched "I'm Not There" which was brilliant. I really enjoyed it, it wasn't what I was expecting but I liked it. Cate Blanchette was perfect, she captured Dylan so well. Heath Ledger wasn't all that great to me and neither was the girl who played Coco (based off Edie Sedgewick.) She's wasn't a bad actress, it's just her godawful hair put me off her character.
Besides watching that movie I listed to my ipod (mainly to Dylan) and stared out the window. That's one of my favorite things to do in all the world. Everything makes more sense in that line where the grass meet the pavement, there's something enlightening about just watching it.
I probably won't be able to read my f-list thoroughly this week but I'll try and read just a little bit of every body's posts. I'll try and comment too.
